- C6F – Cable of 6 sts in which back 3 sts twist from the front then K6
- C6B – Cable of 6 sts in which back 3 sts twist from back then K6
- K2tog – Knit 2 sts together through the front loop
- C8F – Cable of 8 sts in which back 4 sts twist from the front then K8
- C8B – Cable of 8 sts in which back 4 sts twist from back then K8

This is my favorite cable knit headband because I really like its color and pattern. In this heart stitch headband, I have knitted 3 cables – two small cables with 4 – 4 stitches on each side and a heart-shaped cable in the middle. The pattern of the center cable and the cables on both sides has been adjusted differently.
To knit this cable headband, I have cast on 34 stitches, and it follows a pattern of 10 rows. For the first 4 rows, you only need to knit the initial pattern. Here’s a detailed explanation of how to knit the heart cable headband.

Headband Size– 3.5 inches wide and 18 Inches long
Yarn– 4-ply, 50-gram wool

In this braided headband, I have put a very beautiful and easy braided cable pattern. You can also knit this pattern in the headbands of both men & women. The pattern consists of a braid with two cables on each side, and the headband has garter stitch borders.
The pattern consists of 8 rows, and I have taken 28 stitches to knit it. The step-by-step pattern for making the headband is given below.

This chunky cable headband cum ear warmer gives a very stylish look to both men and women. It has a web cable pattern, which adds a unique touch to its appearance. If you use slightly thicker yarn for this design, it looks even more beautiful.

To knit the headband, first, we will cast on 32 stitches on the needle. I have added a cable design to this headband, which is very beautiful and slightly different.
To start this design, we need to knit two base rows. After that, we can knit the pattern. This pattern consists of 12 rows, and you need to repeat these 12 rows to complete the headband. So, let’s start knitting the headband!

Headband Size– 3.8 inch wide and 18 inch long.
Yarn– 8ply, 45 gram wool
Knitting Needle– 10 Number or 2.75MM Straight Needles

How to Bindoff the Headband
For this, we knit 2 stitches, then bring the back stitches over the front stitches. Next, knit one stitch and bring the back stitches over the front stitches again. Remember to always knit over knit stitches and purl over purl stitches.
Continue repeating the process until only 1 stitch remains. Cut the yarn and sew both edges of the headband together from the wrong side.
How to sew Cable Knit Headband
Now you have to sew both ends together from the wrong sides, When sewing the cable knit headband, you need to pay attention that the design of the cable should match with the design of the cable. If they don’t match, the headband won’t look nice when it’s finished.
