Knit with Confidence: Beginner-Friendly Unisex Chunky Cable Beanie Knitting Pattern with Straight Needles.
Hello friends, welcome to all of you to my knitting blog. In today’s post, I’ll be sharing a simple knitting pattern for a beautiful chunky cable beanie. This beanie is made in a very easy way, so beginners can also make it very easily.

In the post, I have explained step-by-step how to knit the chunky cable beanie. In addition, I have also attached video tutorials below, which you can watch to make it easy.

Ribbing of the chunky cable knit beanie
Now we will make the border of the beanie. I have completed the border in a simple 1X1 rib stitch. You can make any border of your choice. The pattern is as follows:
Row 1 – * K1, P1 * repeat * to * till end
Row 2 – Knit in knit & Purl in purl
The length of the border should be 2 inches.
Body of the chunky cable knit beanie
After the border is complete, we will increase the stitches from the wrong side. Here we have increased 20 stitches, so now we have 100 stitches.
Wrong Side – P2, increase a sts, * P4, increase a sts * repeat from * to * ………………….. last 2 sts P2.
Now we have put a cable pattern here, which is 15 stitches long. After that, we have taken a gap of 5-5 stitches on both sides of the cable. Here we will need a total of 25 stitches to create a pattern.
The pattern is given below. We need to complete the length ( 8.5 inches with border ) of the hat according to this pattern.
Row 1 – * P5, C10F, K5, P5 * repeat from * to *
Row 2 – Purl all sts

Row 2 – * P3, P2tog, K13, P2tog, P3 * repeat from * to *
