Today I have brought the beautiful Double Color Handmade women’s slipper socks knitting pattern for beginners. In the winter, women are passionate about wearing socks of different designs. Every woman aspires to knit and wear a variety of cozy woolen socks & slippers, but they sometimes struggle due to the lack of sock patterns or designs.

That’s why, I’m presenting a lovely and simple pattern for women’s slipper socks, accessible to everyone. Knitting this women’s slipper sock is so simple that even beginners can easily make it.

I’ve knitted these slipper socks in two different colors, but you can also knit them in a single color. However, the dual-color pattern adds a touch of beauty that’s truly delightful.

Materials needed to knit women’s slipper socks

Yarn- 60 grams of yarn ( 4 ply ) for socks & pom-pom.

Knitting Needles- 10-number knitting needles ( 3.25MM ).

Optional- Pom Pom Maker, Measuring Tape, Scissors & Feet Mannequin.

• SL – Slip
• P   –  Purl
• STS- Stitches
• RS-  Right Side
• WS- Wrong Side

Women’s slipper socks knitting pattern Free

Socks Size – 9 Inch feet

Skill Level – Beginners to advance

Cast on – 26 sts on the 10-number knitting needles

This women’s sock is designed in the shape of a long strip, and I’ve presented a detailed step-by-step guide for knitting it.

It’s knitted like a strip and sewn to give it a socks-like look. You can also add pom-poms to it to make it even more beautiful.

We have to complete these socks by knitting them purl-wise from both sides. Apart from this, these socks will be made in three parts.

The first and third parts will be knitted with single color,  while the second section will involve the use of double colors for knitting. Now we have a long strip of wool which we will sew to make a sock.

Let’s start knitting the socks!

Row 1 ( RS ) – Purl all sts……… last sts K1 ( Green Color )

Row 2 ( WS ) – Purl all sts……… last sts K1 ( Green Color )

Two rows make one stripe. Now, repeat knitting the first and second rows, we need to knit a total of 26 stitches using the green color.

Add the second color and start knitting according to the pattern provided below.

Row 1 ( RS ) – Purl all sts……… last sts K1 ( Pink Color )

Row 2 ( WS ) – Purl all sts……… last sts K1 ( Pink Color )

Row 3 ( RS ) – Purl all sts……… last sts K1 ( Green Color )

Row 4 ( WS ) – Purl all sts……… last sts K1 ( Green Color )

Now, repeating the given four rows above, we need to knit 15 strips using double colors.

Knit with a single color again.

Row 1 ( RS ) – Purl all sts……… last sts K1 ( Green Color )

Row 2 ( WS ) – Purl all sts……… last sts K1 ( Green Color )

Now, while knitting the first and second rows, we need to knit a total of 26 strips with a single color.

Now bind-off the socks from the wrong side. These socks are made in the form of a long strip. Therefore, it has to be sewn and given the look of socks.

How to sew socks

• Fold the sock from the wrong side and sew it from the bottom & back side.
• Now, it will look like a pouch or bag.
• After this, we will thread all the edges of the double-color pattern with a thread, pull them tightly, and tie them well from the wrong side.
• Our socks are ready. Now, to make them more beautiful and stylish, we will attach a small pom-pom to their front.
